About the event

As part of Kris Welham’s 2026 Testimonial Year, we are taking the celebration on the road—literally. Kris and a dedicated team will be embarking on a gruelling 440-mile charity cycle ride, a distance specifically chosen to honour Kris’s 440+ professional career appearances on the rugby league field.

This isn’t just a test of endurance; it’s a "Rugby League Pilgrimage" connecting the communities that have defined Kris’s journey.

The Route

  • The Departure: Starting at Sewells Craven Park Hull, where the story began.

  • The Heartland: A mid-way stop in Warrington, the engine room of the North's rugby culture.

  • The Grand Finale: Crossing the finish line at the iconic Wembley Stadium, the home of the Challenge Cup and the site of Kris’s most memorable career milestones.
